Hi and welcome to Snowtopia, my Travel Blog!

This is my final week of employment, before I become a workshy and take a year off to go travelling.

I hope to use this Blog, to post stories and photos from my travels, beginning in Argentina this July, and stay in touch with you all back in Blighty/Rest of the World.

For the first part of the trip, my vague plan for July to October is to spend a week or two in Buenos Aires and then head over to the north most ski resorts in the Andes, maybe Mendoza? Then work my way south through the resorts in Argentina and Chile.

So, it would be much apreciated if you could post your recommendations of what to see and do in Buenos Aires or the names of your favourite South American ski resorts that I should visit!

So until July, I will just be selling my car (2004 Celica, 1 careful owner, 28000 miles. Offers please!), watching the world cup (come on En-gur-land), planning a few things for the trip and probably not venturing anywhere more exotic than the Isle of Wight. (let us know if you are going to the IoW festival!)
